Every year I look back on my wordcount and project totals to wrap my brain around what exactly I’ve accomplished. There are two lists here, a list of things I published and a list of things I’ve written. There is always a little bit of crossover with these lists. There is an 11 thing overlap between the two lists, meaning I wrote a thing and it was published the same year.

100% of things written in 2024 were for a call for submissions or contract, meaning 100% of things had an external deadline I did not control. It’s one of my goals this year to reduce that percentage.

84% of things written for external editors were accepted for publication (!!), leaving me only 3 things unclaimed. 1 is pending. (This is a shockingly high acceptance rate. Just an incredible number. Mindblowing.)

Wordcount Total: 212,500 words, more than 47k better than my previous best (168k in 2014), and the first time I’ve cracked 200k.
