Last update for the year! Next week I’ll have a lovely review for you all, but this week I’m under a deadline (ugh!). Hellebore #3 is due to the editor on the 1st and as of today I’ve got three chapters left. (about 7k) I have done nothing but write (and recover from high wordcount days) this week. Next week, after the first, I’m taking a break.

This series started heavily spicy but it’s tipping more toward plot as the cast grows and things get more tangled. Were it not contracted I would let the size of the stories grow to even out the spice level, but I’m signed up for novellas, so novellas will be delivered.

This week I received the cover art for this series’ prequel, titled Vampire Discovered, which is at least 1 scene mentioned but not flash-backed in book 1. I believe the prequel is 3 or 4 scenes, though, which puts it around 8k. I haven’t written that one yet, but it’s on the list.
